Say It So Students Can Act
Paste what you said or planned to say. Get a version students can act on: shorter sentences, one idea at a time, and the extra thinking removed.
What this tool does
Before
"Okay everyone, when you finish up what you're doing, go ahead and start thinking about transitioning to your reading groups, but make sure you've put everything away first."
→
After
"Stop. Put your pencil down. Close your notebook. Wait for my signal. Then move to your reading group."
This tool rewrites teacher language to remove the steps students have to figure out on their own. Output is a draft. Your tone and relationship with your students matter. Adjust before using.
